Angel Ariel “The price of admission to a human life is before you leave and go back home again, you are to make a powerful positive, permanent impact on another human soul. That pays for the journey.”.

The Star: “Hope Restored”

The “Llewellyn Tarot”, after immense change, the Star is a source of comfort, hope & help. Here it shows Branwen enjoying a moment of grace & peace. Represents freedom after trials that tested your faith and taking the steps to save oneself, all the while knowing you are blessed, protected & guided.
"Pulp Tarot" is the picture of self-empowerment; it often appears when one is recovering after grief & overwhelming despair. Represents entering a time of calm, when one can finally relax into a deep cathartic inhale & exhale- pouring out of emotional energies & a restoration of your purpose and life force.
"Circe Tarot", with see a water nymph surrounded by 8 pointed stars symbolizing the duality of creation & destruction, balance & harmony between the material & spiritual realms, and the integration of opposites, such as light & dark. This low, dark cycle has passed; things are turning up & you are on the path of healing & renewal. Faith & hope are returning.
In the "Terra Volatile" version 'Dream', we see a heavenly creature visit a sleeping woman, reigniting her faith & optimism. Perhaps this is her Soul Star Chakra, which contains her life purpose, connection to the Higher Self/Divine/Higher Consciousness, and soul lessons, allowing for spiritual guidance & support on navigating life ahead. External forces are at play, bringing good stuff-inspiring us internally.
In the "Gustave Doré Tarot," we see an illustration of two people wondrously gazing into the vast nighttime sky & its guiding lights. A humbling experience. It's beyond the intellectual understanding that there's something greater than ourselves "out there"; it's the living personal testimony of having been divinely guided when all hope was lost & having our optimism in the future restored.
“The Chinese Tarot” features the Chinese god of longevity, known as Shou Xing one of the Three Star Gods-depicted as a bearded old man (long life, health, well-being), carrying a peach (the gift of longevity) accompanied by cranes (hope & healing). He represents wisdom & the importance of living a virtuous life. His character embodies the idea that a long life should be filled with meaningful experiences, giving more than receiving and good deeds

The Hermit: “Time Alone to Figure It Out”

The “Llewellyn Tarot” shows Myrddin, walking staff in hand holding a torch to illuminate the darkness. Illustrates the ‘Dark Night of the Soul’ –a profound spiritual crisis characterized by isolation, doubt, & suffering that ultimately leads to deep transformation & renewed connection with the Divine-symbolized by the serpent coiled at his feet.
"Golden Art Nouveau Tarot" finds a robed pilgrim going on a personal quest seeking truth, wisdom & understanding of the larger patterns in life. Represents seeking guidance or providing wise counsel for others needing more than just surface level understanding. It may be an unorthodox path, but his lantern shines a light for others.
The "Old Style Tarot" shows a sprouting plant in the Hermit’s hand which speaks to the renewing feature contemplative self-examination can bring when we give up distractions & turn off the outside chaotic world. Clarity, growth & regeneration take time-have compassionate patience for yourself if on this journey.
"Terra Volatile" features a Buddhist monk, in lotus pose, eyes closed, making an Akash Mudra used to deepen meditation, enhance inner awareness & facilitate a connection with higher consciousness. This Hermit exemplifies looking inward, seeking answers within oneself, inner reflection & re-evaluation of perhaps the mask or other “him” he holds in his other hand.
Themes of isolation & withdrawal from the world are also themes of the Hermit. The “Tarot Metal” shows Quorthon from Bathory who distanced himself from the conventional music industry, even avoiding live performances for much of his career. Insular but intelligent, he never left the house & deflected questions on interviews. Created obstacles as a musician but walking the path alone generated more creative freedom for himself.
From the “Magicians, Martyrs & Madmen Tarot" we see Enochian magician, Edward Kelley, paused in a moment of doubt. A life in shadow, in which it becomes complicated to light the path of truth yourself. Questioning the nature of things, seen & unseen, he immersed himself in arcane studies, often working in seclusion with his spiritual practices & alchemical experiments communicating with angels.
Guidance for June 15, 2025:
2 of Swords: “Divided Thoughts”

The “Llewellyn Tarot” shows the barriers we put up between ourselves & the external world to preserve our peace. Moon in Libra strives for emotional equilibrium. Manifesting as hiding our upset, denying true feelings, refusing to act & unwilling to rock the boat. Frozen in confusion we close off our heart.
"Golden Art Nouveau Tarot" finds a blindfolded woman with her swords raised in a defensive manner. Fragile peace is found but only because she chooses not to know-closing her eyes to what is going on to keep this peace. While she would rather avoid this unpleasantness altogether, ignoring the truth, as heavy as those swords, can only be sustained for so long.
The "Old Style Tarot" shows a woman sitting on a stone seat emphasizing the uncomfortable nature of the pending choice & how it must be done cold. A decision made thru cold cognition is more likely to involve logic and critical analysis, but her eyes are covered, signaling it’s not an informed choice. She’s then forced to blindly yet cautiously feel her way through.
"Terra Volatile" features a completely hooded woman with two birds wresting at her feet-the internal fight between adjustment & balance. There’s active thought & consideration going on even though it does not appear so. The agitated waters suggest decision making will involve an emotional element -an uneasy one made with limited information.
The “Tarot Metal” shows Mike Muir from the crossover thrash group Suicidal Tendencies with two guitars crossed across his heart symbolizing his divided loyalties between thrash metal & hardcore punk. Wearing his trademark bandana, he found a compromise between two worthy allies, by making a change from punk to metal, thus creating what would become crossover thrash.
From the “Magicians, Martyrs & Madmen Tarot" we see a beheaded Thomas More representing courage & friendship and finding (or not) agreement in a situation of conflict. A devoted Catholic, he found himself caught between his allegiances to his faith & his employment to the King, who was amid breaking England from the Catholic Church. Canonized as a saint for his courageous choice to stay true to his faith.

10 of Coins “Building a Worthy Legacy”

"Pulp Tarot" version displays a wealthy, successful family enjoying a comfortable life built on responsibility, dedication & effort-most probably from the older man relaxing with his dogs. Dogs symbolize devotion, loyalty & domestic life. His time/focus/attention has been on building long term benefits, making fruitful investments to build a life of comfort & security where not only he, but his family could benefit. Balance of career & family life will be highlighted this week.
The “Tarot Metal” shows two musicians appreciating their wall of gold records-a sign of abundance after years of hard work & effort resulting in a successful career. Themes of ownership, greatness & doing things impressively are expressed in this card. Focus on long-term benefits rather than instant gains.
The "Old Style Tarot" is the picture of happiness, harmony & contentment within the domestic environment. Finding strength, support & protection within the clan. Time of year when many chose to settle down & start a family or participate in old family traditions & celebrations. You may feel more conventional & conservative now.
Inheritance, legacy & looking to the future-anything handed down to younger generations- are also major themes. "Golden Art Nouveau Tarot" features hands placed on the heads of those poised to benefit from the fruits of their predecessors' efforts. The old man will bless those who show loyalty, while the woman will pass on her traits or values to her children. What are you passing on?
In the "Gustave Doré Tarot," we see an illustration of a grandmother telling stories to her grandchildren. A symbol of instilling old-fashioned values or passing on the “Old Ways” to younger generations so they may benefit. In time, their children will inherit in turn these old school ways.
The 'Tarot of Opposites' depicts a couple coldly being denied access to comfort perhaps due to family conflict or a loss of wealth. Outcasts, they are shut out creating instability & insecurity. A golden prison. Material security loses meaning when its devoid of familial warmth or support. A reminder to emotionally invest into what’s truly worthwhile.
Guidance for June 1, 2025:
Death “Big Change Around the Corner”

The "Old Style Tarot", Death rides in to clear the board & change everything. Associated w/ Scorpio-sign of death & rebirth, transformation is deep, intense & painful but essential. Ending of a cycle, it encourages you to let go & move on. Ignore it & settle into rotting stagnation.
The “Tarot Metal” shows Roy, mascot for Children of Bodom, with his scythe cutting down what is meant to be left behind. Reaping & harvesting. Times change & we must change with them despite mental resistance. A part of your life will be mourned but the moment has come to sow & germinate something brand new.
"Pulp Tarot" version displays a horror movie poster featuring Death as a magician pulling his victims at random from his hat. Illustrates that Death is an equal opportunity employer & plays no favorites. Everyone gets a shot at loss as well as an opportunity for rebirth & regeneration. Even if the outcome is unknown, the sun will rise again, and with it, new opportunities.
In the "Gustave Doré Tarot," we see an illustration from Poe’s The Raven depicting a cloaked Death sitting on what looks like the Moon. He almost looks defeated in his battle against the inevitability of loss, fear of the Unknown & the loneliness that it can bring. I’m afraid there are some changes that we must discover & transverse alone.
“The Chinese Tarot” features Yama, king of the underworld, who judges the spirits of the dead whether they are to pass on through to heaven or undergo punishment in the nether world. A stay in Hell is not doomed to be permanent. Overcoming imposed trials can redeem & transform a soul, altering its core preparing it for a new life in a new body. This is the beginning of a new era.
“Terra Volatile” version portrays Death as The Swamp Thing who was forced to surrender his old self thru putrefaction & is reborn with extraordinary abilities. What is presently old & lifeless is destroyed, reduced to bare bones, so it can be reborn as a completely new being. Transition is not comfortable, painful at times as the new life takes shape.
The “Tarot of Opposites” depicts a Death welcoming a new dawn-change for the better is on the horizon as obstacles end. Personal chapters close, as new stories begin. You rise again after this radical transformation.
