”Struggling to Coming to Peace with your Dream”

Laguz sets the stage to help reveal what’s hidden in the unconscious …of what lies underneath your conscious awareness and grasp its deeper meaning.  The unconscious holds both our dreams & our doubts. It has the ability to communicate conflicting messages from both our soul’s yearnings and our gut-gripping fears. This hidden contradiction can seep into & occupying much of our conscious thought causing anxiety & upsetting our peace. This week’s reading focuses on the struggle between what you HAVE to do to pay your bills juxtaposed to what your soul WANTS/NEEDS to do. Peace appears here to speak to the need for tranquility & to be at peace with yourself. It requires you not to lie to yourself about who you are, what you feel, what matters to you, what you expect of yourself and how well you measure up against your own expectations. Laguz is a symbol of purification -the cleansing & healing of harmful habits or patterns as well as those things that are no longer right for you. The structures of how you’ve made money in the past can sometimes fall apart making way for you to finally start doing what you are meant to do. What stands in your way (and adding to the stress) is the Unconscious fear of not making enough money to sustain you- the ability to make a living if you choose to follow a dream and do what you love. This fear is more acutely felt if you are experiencing a reduction in finances. There’s a real-life struggle illustrated between what you need & what you want. And while the advice does suggest, “Do what you love & desire or it will destroy you” not everyone can do that financially. The big idea surrounding that message of “do what you love or love what you do”  is you don't have to change a thing about what you are doing, just your relationship to it. Whether you’re seeking more fulfilling employment or shifting your attitude within an existing job, you can adopt a more positive mindset on what work is supposed to be. Identify mutual values within whatever you are doing.

Angel of Love advises you to create a new connection with something more aligned or deepen a more meaningful connection to something already in your life. To the extent you can put yourself into a task, (a way to fuse yourself with the action, -being fully present, as a personality, fully there in the moment) could change your relationship with what you do for the better.
