The overarching theme this week is the rune Othala which represents what we inherit from our forefathers and pass on to the next generation. Not everything “handed down” needs to be passed on, however. The self-clearing & expansive energy of Kyanite encourages us to let go of all challenging energy that has kept us at odds with ourselves & others. In regard to Othala, it would mean letting go of “inheritances” (emotional baggage, ancestral beliefs or ill-fitting identities) that need to be abandoned by you now. As you shed what no longer serves for yourself, do it with patience & don’t force things before they are ready. Pyromorphite will give you courage and enhance your ability to speak your truths but resist the urge to assert your process on others. You’ll not win over others with verbal arguments when all they want to do is to adhere to their own value system, form their own personal opinions and set their own life direction.
Othala asks us to keep the peace at home and maintain the harmonious ties within the family by having compassion in both communication & decision making. Kyanite supports us with calm, clear communication & sensitivity where we respect boundaries free from anger or frustration. Everyone has to make their own independent decisions based on what brings them fulfillment & joy. Since Pyromorphite helps to shed light on how the Law of Karma works, people will be held cosmically accountable for whatever choices they make; so let the Universe sort that out.
Othala also speaks to accepting the wisdom of our ancestors who have passed through trials and were enriched by their difficulties. To draw inspiration from your predecessors & learn their wisdom. Even though Kyanite invites you to abandon what does not resonate Othala however, asks you to seriously consider, if you could benefit from this knowledge rather than dismissing it with contempt. For if this wisdom was to be followed, it would put you on the right path to not only help yourself but others. Only you can make that determination after compassionate reflection.
