“Help Without Strings Attached”

This week's reading speaks to someone needing guidance & the generous sharing of that wisdom rather than gatekeeping it. The Sage, recognizing our own weaknesses & deficiencies, often appears when someone is behaving poorly & needs guidance to get back on track. And since the Sage brings a focus on self-development, these are the insights of humility from a mature perspective. It's the deep "truths of life" that only lived experience can give you & he shares this wisdom with the uninitiated. Here age & experience are invaluable commodities. Thereby, you may find yourself in a teaching role or in need of a reliable ally to show you the ropes. 6 of Coins, a card of generosity, we see the active sharing of our natural skills, talents, & solutions that could enhance the day-to-day life of those who need it most. Whether on the giving or receiving end, this sensible advice, void of preaching, should be freely given. Just a good caring person helping another in need. Remaining silent & non-active would not be helpful to anyone in want of help. The High Priestess, representing hidden knowledge or insight, allows events to process letting them figure it out on their own. Watching as others helplessly flounder without intervention thereby hindering progress. Here the HP means gatekeeping - strings-attached advice which comes only after paying a price. With her, one must make a sacrifice for an empowering benefit. The Warrior would suggest stoicism & self-sacrifice as a better vehicle for conquering the ego rather than being withdrawn  or mysterious towards those struggling. It’s the Warrior who acts to liberate & protect those who need representation using his wise experience as a teaching moment to showcase his strength, skill, discipline, & grit. If it’s you in need, take a look at the obvious & what’s in your face. There’s no deep secret here. Withdrawing & not speaking up to ask for outside help will have you remaining a mystery to everyone including yourself. Take advantage of any free, empowering worldly advice that would move you from feelings of lack to feelings of understanding.
