August 2026 Readings
Guidance for the week of March 29th 2026:
What have we been feeling on a group level? Collective intuition or a collective knowing.

What’s holding me in the past? Altar
What am I missing in my present? Waterfall
Focus for a more positive future: Door
The Altar card speaks to Cause & Effect—the consequence or result of actions taken. Some call this karma, & it has been holding us back collectively. There's a need for critical evaluation of who & what we've been worshiping. What have we been paying homage to? Where have we been dedicating our energies, & has the cost proven too high? Consider ritualistic obedience to something ancient, demanding, & vampiric—or something more modern, digital, & algorithmic. Each demands a sacrifice. Both compete for human attention as a valuable resource, treating it like a commodity that can be captured & monetized in some form. Some aspects of this structure are visibly falling away, changing quickly right before our eyes. We question what "liquidity" fills in its place. This change was expected, even if you were unaware of its movement or unsure how to channel its flow to cut new paths. What's missing is fluidity & willingness to embrace freedom. Many do not seem to want to change this paradigm, but resistance will only bring more pain than necessary. There's potential to harvest energy from this waterfall. Why not maximize the efficiency of this energy collection for our own benefit? Gather your energy to join with others—gain momentum to overcome & ride through this process with greater ease, stepping into a new space, a new paradigm. The importance lies in enacting this strong desire for change—to exit the system. This entrance into a new life requires both an internal & external conscious shift. Some will not step through. Door represents crossing a threshold, an expansion of limits & boundaries, gaining new access. We focus on letting something new in & allowing something stale to take their leave. I'm not going to pretend to know what this "something new" is exactly. While there may be new vistas, invigorating possibilities, & expanded horizons, "there are dangers outside your front door" as well. This paradigm has lasted for centuries—I can't imagine a time in recorded history when it wasn't so. Is this a freefall into something new? An invitation? I guess we'll discover together

“Teaching to be a Designer of your own Future”

Discontent & Misery: Page of Berries
Patience & Discipline: King of Vessels
Reward: Baron of Skates
Saturn's energy brings themes of responsibility, pragmatism, hardship, and tangible results. Discontent and misery also fall under Saturn's rule -the reality of a savage loneliness that hints at a long-standing situation where your emotions and personal needs have been tamped down, perhaps for the benefit of another. This is represented by the Page of Berries. Berries speak to cooperation -sharing your charity and abundance with someone who has only a basic understanding of what it means to give without an agenda. There's an immaturity to the Page, whether from self-centeredness (young people can be this way) or simple cluelessness. Perhaps they've been careless or reckless with what you offered them so openly.
Saturn steps in here to teach a little respect - a reminder that there are rules and structure to mind, that there are no free lunches, and it's time to grow up. The discontent you feel comes from a structure that has outlived its usefulness. Saturn also introduces discipline and patience, embodied by the King of Vessels -the presence of mind and humility to recognize the blessings that exist and gather them where you can, without taking them for granted. The King of Vessels listens without being a hard-ass, yet remains firm - the good father archetype. Whether you adopt these traits yourself or they're embodied by an older man in your life, quiet dignity, appreciation, and responsibility can be communicated to the Page more effectively through this kind of steady, diplomatic influence -especially where there's a heartfelt connection already in place.
The reward is a progression: from dependent Page to the still-unsure, shaky Baron of Skates. There's real work ahead. Trouble and difficulty are simply part of growing up and maturing - learning that failure is a stepping stone to success is Saturn's lesson too. Coaching from a protective "taskmaster," one who takes stock of the Page's accomplishments along the way, can boost their readiness. Expect some resentment, reluctance, and mishaps as they practice independence. But confidence sharpens and ability improves - they just need to get on the ice.
Guidance for week of August 16, 2026:
“Throw the Spaghetti, Watch the Wall and Juggle Your Response”

What will work: Page of Swords
What won’t: King of Pentacles
Key learning: Two of Pentacles
This week’s cards mirror the collective shift of Uranus’ move from Taurus into Gemini – especially in how we’re asked to handle novel challenges. Like Gemini itself, the Page of Swords is sharp, curious, and awkwardly comfortably testing the air with innovative ideas and conversations. Its energy brings forth a liberation of the mind, open to a world of ideas...and pushes us to rethink how we process information, communicate, and relate to one another. A problem may arise that calls for a new way of thinking, a fresh perspective, or brazenly honest energy. This could show up as learning new technology or adapting to new tools- very on-brand for a move into an air sign, which asks us to be flexible, quick, and versatile, oriented toward dialogue and movement rather than one slow, fixed approach. Instead of committing to one established method, we're meant to be juggling a few ideas at once, testing across multiple fronts -throwing spaghetti at the wall to see what sticks.
The Page isn’t the answer guy, that’s the King. The Page learns by testing, probing, and staying curious. A scrappy kind of intellectual curiosity: he throws out an idea to see how it lands, then adjusts and tries again. He's unafraid to attempt something new. And right now, that approach is the one that works.
What doesn't work is embodied by the King of Pentacles: committing hard to one plan with an attitude of “having it all figured out”. Rigidity and over-control won’t work in these days of Uranus in Gemini. While both approaches have their value in the right context, it's worth being honest about which one actually is a better fit . Have no attachment to any single attempt being "the" answer-the value is in the data you get back from trying. The Two of Pentacles, a card of adjustment, confirms staying light and experimental, like the Page, is the way to go. Watching what happens, then recalibrating based on results. You'll value fast feedback over perfect planning. Nimble, responsive, and quick to adjust is the name of the game.
Guidance for week of August 9, 2026: “Everything Will Be Ok”

Theme: Ingwaz (Gestation, Internal Growth)
Epilogue: Exile
Unfolding Story: Castle entangled with Thorns:
Moral: Bandit Runs Away

This week speaks to hidden transformation & the time spent cultivating future actions & objectives. First, it asks you to let go of something (a sacrifice) so that something more desirable can be born: a transformation into new energy or form. This future is built on what has been nurtured & patiently grown within you, quietly accumulating beneath the surface, waiting for fertile ground to take root & rise.
Ingwaz, the rune of internal growth, calls back to a situation where you felt unfairly punished or painfully misunderstood. Despite that trial, you made the best of a bad situation. The time spent ‘in exile” was exactly what you needed to center your thoughts & energy- something developed quietly inside, changing you incrementally. Looking back on that experience now, you can see you gained skills that made you self-sufficient, while also receiving well-timed support that arrived exactly when you needed it most. That period was life-altering, because you now know your future successes are built on the resolve, skill, & confidence you proved to yourself back then.
The story unfolding now: powerful, protective forces shield you from outside harm. It’s almost as if a heavenly hand insulates & protects you & your house. The Castle & its roots, point to home, family & ancestry- the love of those present & those who’ve passed, have built an elaborate defense around you, guarding against further catastrophe or roadblocks. Their lasting love insulates you from outside darkness, leaving you blissfully unaware of what’s happening outside your door. The rest of the world moves on while you & yours are protected in this bubble of love. If you didn't know this before, you know it now. This should alleviate any anxiety about planning for the future. You can safely take advantage of opportunities, or make a decision, without having a clear plan first. You already have the skills to navigate what comes. You'll get support exactly when you need it, all while being held by loving, protective forces. You can trust the process even though the steps aren’t visible yet.
Guidance for week of August 2nd, 2026:
“An Expansion of Who You Are Now”

Incoming energy: 1 & 3
Nature of the group: Naz
What this brings up for you: The Lovers
What its taught you: The Witch
The 1 & 3 combination bring “new chapter energy” into this week. A widening of your social circle or a step in a new direction. This could show up as increased interaction outside your front door: through work, community, school, or circle. Naz shows a space where you're welcomed, taken fully to their bosom--protected, loved, cared for. A lighter, more positive environment where trust and self-confidence have room to grow. Here you can be held without being strangled by the group's demands, appreciated as a member without sacrificing your power or your voice to belong. The blue & brown hues of this card speak to a deep sense of unconditional, down-to-earth support where your growth can be nurtured. The Lovers brings up a quiet recognition of how nice it feels to be around people who share your values and by contrast, illuminates where misalignment lived within past groups or alliances. There's something inspiring about finally finding somewhere you can settle in and form roots. Reminds me of last month’s message about the importance of your circle providing the right nourishment to your root system.
Linked to Gemini, The Lovers speak to finding your own voice. Finally moving beyond the disempowerment of having to keep quiet or contort your values to keep the peace. Freedom is found in mutual communication, where you're free to just be you. A more natural expression rather than adhering to a consensus dressed up as tolerance.
The Witch is a lucky card, and it confirms that you set this intention many moons ago. You knew an end was coming, and you prepared for it. The discomfort of the ill-fitting places was a phase you had to move through - a slow uncovering that could only happen from the inside out, in its own time. It was just a matter of time for things to turn in your favor. Now, surrender to whatever good thing shows up next - it's here to nourish what's coming. Enjoy this new chapter.
