“Progress not Perfection”

Anxious to energetically start something new you are thwarted from putting your desired plans into action. There are losses being incurred because you cannot achieve something therefore it’s creating challenges to your health, libido, immune system, creativity, or bonds in partnerships. But perhaps you brought this hardship on yourself as a result of poor choices made. Nauthiz represents our past actions catching up with us restricting any future action. The necessity of hardship, life lessons and of being forced to grow. It’s not a situation you would have ever chosen for yourself but often it’s through adversity that we discover new solutions to deal with our old problems.

So before you can make forward movement, you must face and deal with your demons as well as question if  your life has become out of control in some respects. Perhaps you invited your own misfortunes by being a victim of your own nature or habits. Maybe you were too receptive when you should have been a bit more discriminating and so you find yourself entrenched in loss & hardship. There are times when we are our own worst enemy. When our inability to control ourselves leads us to a state of grief but Nauthiz tells us we can always get back on track.

Our desires & ideals can eclipse our true need & perception of real circumstances. Nauthiz represent actions governed by common sense so before you take any action have a realistic view of your problems & how they affect your life. By recognizing the reality of your situation & how you got here, you can embrace this obstacle as a time to take responsibility & do things the “right way” with dedication. No longer blaming others for your faults, you lean on the reliance on the Self to have the ability to overcome confusion and conflict. You will have to commit to "the follow through" as any promises made will be expected to be upheld. Nauthiz is not an easy rune. There’s friction, hard work, lessons learned the hard way but yet all these lead to strength.

Armed with humility, you can learn from your past mistakes but also from the errors & successes of others. You need to get real with yourself and do what needs to be done if you want to stay on the right path. Try keeping your anger & impulses under control. It will also be helpful to release frustration and impatience, letting the energy flow freely around you while not losing sight of the essential. A good mood & modesty is essential for progress moving forward. Progress not perfection.
