“Just be There to Listen”

This week will call for you to be quiet & just listen to anyone looking to rant or vent. You tend to be their lighthouse in times of troubled waters, providing a guiding light to show the safe way to shore. However, this week you’ll have to turn down the volume of your sage advice-giving tendencies. Someone is just going to need your soothing presence without your two-cents even though you’ll soooo wanna give it. You also don’t have to fix it either. Doing what you desire may not be the best thing for them. Everyone needs to do what’s best for them & sometimes others have to come to their own conclusions in their own time. The road for them will be different from yours. That’s not easy to do; to just sit back & watch it not work smoothly for them. It’s unsettling to watch others struggle especially if we care about them & have counseled them in the past. But it’s their (soul lesson) responsibility to make the connection, find what clicks & action on it themselves. Just be there to provide support and comfort in whatever shape or form that takes; providing a nice meal or a hot cuppa, doling out positive encouragements or simply by being the stalwart example you’ve always been.  You’ll be a bolstering “hot broth” to quiet any turbulent emotions this troubled soul unloads & doesn’t wish to have anymore.
