”What’s in your Basket?”

You know that cooking show “Chopped”? The Food Network show where everyday cooks have to create something spectacular from the mystery ingredients in their baskets? They have to WOW the judges with their ingenuity, creativity, talent, technical skill, and courage to push the envelope & travel outside their comfort zones to pull off the impossible. It’s the ultimate test of their abilities-no outside help, no contributing ideas, no additional ingredients. You got to produce a little miracle using just the resources and skill you have at your disposal..and the weird crap in your basket. That’s you this week.

This week encourages you to recognize you have everything, in fact, more than, you need to pull off something remarkable. You are being called to rise to the occasion and show up with something to bring to the table. You can bring a fruitful contribution to wherever you set your sights on if you can make use of what you have with confidence, flair and cleverness.  However, you may feel a bit unsure, vulnerable, underprepared or overwhelmed as if all eyes are scrutinizing you. Resist the urge to acquire that “missing element”- the one you think you need because YOU don’t think YOU have what it takes. There’s no need to join forces with anyone else. Avoid thinking they will have more to add to the mix.  This isn’t about anyone else. They do not hold the key to the magic of creation, you do. By entrusting yourself to partnerships, collaborations, outside contributions or new ideas, you may be opening yourself up to possible spoilage or contamination of whatever you are trying to cook up. The cultivation of this project is not to be open to everyone -keep it under lock & key.

I don’t think you realize this is a chance to prove to yourself & others you have what it takes. An awakening and an acknowledgement that you are a contender, a master, a worthy opponent, an esteemed colleague, or a notable contributor in your own right.  This productive talented or skill of yours doesn’t go unnoticed either. Goldenseal appears as a positive indicator of your abundant talents being recognized & appreciated. There may be an opportunity for increased finances, advancement, or favorable placement as a result of achieving this solo triumph.
