“A New Life for Her to Consider”

Spread:
Signifier: The Thinking Woman
Opportunity: The Sun
Challenges: The Garden & the Gate
Outcome: Financial constraints
"Shit is going down with your job-reevaluate, change your perspective or quit"
Our main protagonist, in this week’s story has a lot to think about. For starters, she doesn’t look happy where she is currently. Perhaps once, but no longer. As the card so bluntly declares, “Shit is going down with your job-It’s time to reevaluate, change your perspective or quit”. Transformative change is in the air and so she is considering a new direction. The Sun speaks to an opportunity for a nurturing new beginning focused on personal growth, greater fulfillment, enjoyment & harmony. This could be an opportunity to birth a new her or a rebirth of some aspect of her life. The Sun also brings clarity and it’s become clear to her that she needs to be liberated from her toil. Changes are happening, ones she needs to look at. Part of her challenge is that she’s been comfortable. Not once was she tempted to look outside the confines of her garden gate envying greener pastures. It may have been a little home away from home. She may have been there for a long time, grew up there in a sense but things are not as rosy as they once were. She may be staying out of loyalty, comfort, promises of “good times returning” or plain ole fear of the unknown. The money has been good which is why she stayed for so long but is it all about the money? Sometimes a richer life experience & ease of mind is much more valuable than a paycheck. What has staying safe brought her? This is a chance to shift her focus & widen her perspective. She’s smart, thoughtful, conscious & aware and she’s sure to land in a place that closest resembles her truth than the place she’s currently in-taking that wealth of experience with her. However, if she does take this new opportunity, money will be tight so this will not be the time for large expenditures. She’ll have to live a bit more conservatively until things improve and make financial decisions based on need & not want. But she needs to know the situation WILL get better. She should take care of her needs now, be grateful and value what she does have. Life’s too short not to hop the fence & dip her toes in another pool.
