“Have ‘Em Kiss Your Grits As You Walk Away”

Spread:
Goals: Volcano reversed ( Knight Of Swords Reversed)
Challenge: Fog /Moon
The Way through: Fire (Passion)/ 9 of Cups-Kiss My Grits.
The Moon in this challenged position is warning the “Situation is dangerous” so avoid taking risks. Things are murky perhaps not what they seem so there’s a strong theme of conservativism rather than expansion and a danger in exploration. Certainly, not the best time to make decisions especially ones generated from anger. Being entrenched in a situation of deception, confusion & uncertainty would make anyone edgy especially when it’s unclear when it will burn off. When things get heated, you plan to make it a point to take a step back to clear & calm yourself especially when it’s impossible to accurately assess the situation or anyone’s position. You may even question your own stance. Why I’m I feeling so triggered? Are you even seeing the situation clearly or are you being manipulated by your imagination and unconscious motivations? When conversations get volatile, it can be tempting to give into impulsive speech without any thought to the consequences or the reckless damage it can cause. You may be baited into a conflict, tempted to respond to an internet troll or fire off a retort to a snarky comment. But any resulting conflict will be from a regrettable loss of patience and self-control on YOUR part and it’s not worth the trouble. Knowing this, you are making a conscious effort to not engage out of anger instead keeping violent or explosive reactions contained. So, your goal this week is to stay off the warpath by showing restraint. You have too much to lose if you “lose it”. The 9 of Cups reminds you to know your worth and adopt a countenance of quiet confidence. Hold onto your self-respect by defiantly looking them dead in the eye, say “No thank you “& walk away. You can instead creatively utilize that fire to entertain, amuse, or show your skill doing what you enjoy; perhaps even burning that anger off sexually or through intense physical exercise. Any one of those choices would be a better use of your time, energy or passion.
