"All the world’s a stage and us the players” Reading for the Collective

The rune Perthro in reverse speaks of unexpected harmful events & unpleasant surprises. Whatever it offers, we want no part of as they will result in a degradation of mood & health. This rune also warns of our past coming back to haunt, so be aware that people may just end up disappointing you because their true motives are hidden & not what you are expecting. We are dealing in a time of psychological & emotional addictions, of fantasy & delusion. Things are not what they seem & each one of us is seeing the world through our unique and limited perspectives. We have to tread carefully in these insane times because we cannot know what’s “behind the curtain” or behind the masks that people wear ..but know many are involved with unhealthy behavior. The big learning lesson here is remembering the complex array of human feelings that lie under the masks we wear in daily life and how we are all  playing with the Shadow & Light of this earthly existence. These masks influence how we are perceived by others & how we perceive them.  The persona we put on to face the comedy & tragedy of life for if we didn’t, we’d be outcasts.  However, the mask is meant to be private & many deny wearing one at all…it’s not meant to be visible for how else would you be able to hide your true intentions? Here we see the mask of the harlequin- an actor whose true feelings are masked in order to gain acceptance. To successfully navigate this time you’ll have to be able to read people & situations with patience & uncanny skill. It may be necessary to have one face for public view as to not give away how you truly feel in order to be diplomatic & helpful  as in a role of a mediator. Put your best foot forward and lead with your best effort. Try to act as an ideal version of oneself not in an attempt to be false or manipulative but instead with the very best of intentions. It would be better to try and smooth relations between conflicting factions by acting as a bridge -bringing people together towards a common goal, peacefully. Being of service to act as an intermediary-someone willing to thoughtfully consider two sides of the story while seeking out the commonality of what unites us.  That said, those that refuse to get involved out of fear or negative judgements of a differing side will be playing right into those fantasies & illusions.  If you proceed thinking “it’s their problem not mine”- you’ll just be contributing to the frightening & unfamiliar situation we have going on here. Retreating into your bubble and refusing to help those clearly in need by not stepping in or up is a sure-fire ticket to failure for the Collective. Discernment, caution and the purest intentions of a willingness to be of genuine help will be needed for the days ahead. Strange evil times indeed.
