“Who are you bleeding for?”

Are you trying to revive a situation or that should die and be buried? Are you giving the most vital parts of your being to others or a situation that is killing you softly? Are you offering up something very precious at too high of a cost? Is the requested sacrifice whispered to be needed in order for you to move on, truly for your betterment or will it lead only to your own detriment? Sacrifice card calls you to prepare for the next cycle of growth & to be ready to recycle or repurpose yourself to promote this propagation. You are being asked to re-channel your energies towards feeding your own dreams, goals, values, or security. The time has come to move on from giving your life blood to others at the expense of yourself. Release the agony and be done offering your precious blood, sweat & tears as payment to bring something into being, especially in regard to others who then end up betraying your best interest. Consider if you tend to be the only one doing the surrendering or giving in at the cost of your integrity or self-respect. Of course, some sacrifice is necessary. You give up time for a project, to raise a child, to grow a successful business, to create art or music- where one forgoes one’s own comfort for the good of another.  The result produces something made much better as a result of our sacrifice. Thus, the sacrifice becomes a result of love, with both parties made better for it. When done with integrity, conviction & in alignment with your True Self, it never feels as if you’re selling your soul.
