“Bruised Faith”: Your Relationship to FAITH

Ah, you poor little Fool. Your intentions were so good and pure. Why did no one give you a heads up? Instead they just watched as you took a header. Ouch! Given the choice of two paths, were you led down the wrong one by those you thought had your best interest in mind? That  wound of failure is bruising your faith. Shy of trying anything new again or of laying your trust in another after they made you a chump.  It was just a hard lesson to learn and now you carry the shame & pain of being too innocent. Shaken by the fragility of your (& others) humanness, it certainly was a hit to the confidence not to mention your soul. It’s damaged your relationship to faith- in people, in your abilities, in being supported when journeying into the unknown, maybe even in God and that sorta sucks. Discouraging yes, but you can’t let that stop you. The healing needed is represented by the Ace of Pentacles. Are you being handed a miracle or just a reality check? You may look like a tough cookie, but the pain from past disappointments has your heart feeling vulnerable.  Getting your hands on a “big win” could really boost your confidence right about now. It could be the push you need to want to get back out there & recoup some momentum, recapturing that spring in your step. It’s going to take a little effort & work, to recover any loss in status, strength, or esteem…including self-confidence. You can take heart in now being a little wiser and less naïve as to who’s really “on your side” & who were the weasels pushing you to reckless action or harmful situations. A valuable lesson indeed. Chariot seems to be taking advantage of this new day- the impetus of new energy to mend his reputation or public persona. It confirms you’re moving in the right direction, so keep going. Don’t bother looking back in regret over past actions or mistakes but rather have faith in your own talent & skill. You are more than capable of tackling any obstacle especially now, equipped with the knowledge gained from past mess ups. Take that pain & transform it into a better understanding of human nature; for an improved level of discernment for the character & true intent of people who profess to be on your side. You’ll be met with comrades who “get you” and understand your objective. Blow past the ones that only want to throw sticks in your spokes. Above all, pray for strength to keep your emotions balanced & in-check so not to derail your purpose & the discipline to stay on track.
