“Embracing Your Part to Play”

This week speaks to finding true reward in the daily grind and in your routines, represented by  your job, the duties you have to do, or how you are creating things. Some use work as an identity which allows others to understand who you are; setting the stage for how they relate to you. This prompts the question: What value does work play in your life? Is it satisfyingly rewarding or just a means to fund what you truly enjoy? Could it be prompting you to consider the idea of work or how you work in a different way (more cooperatively, independently, or self-assuredly) with co-workers or anyone integral to your daily life?

The Actor invites you to look at work as just a role you play at this particular point in time in your life. It doesn't have to define the real person or "you" behind the part. Remember, you will have many roles to play in your journey. You don't have to take it so seriously. It is just one aspect of who you really are as an individual, and not everyone gets to witness all the valuable parts you play to keep the machine of your life running. They aren't meant to. Some things are meant to be private and hidden away, like the innards of a pocket watch. The Leo energy symbolizes all the things we possess that make us great in the world–our gifts and talents–and how it influences others. It just wants to shine, and it doesn't care where or how. So, hit the stage and play your role to the best of your ability without worry of being different from others. Acknowledge that your gift –your presence– is an integral part of making this world turn, so be generous with it. No matter how many delusions or false dreams you try to tell yourself that you have nothing valuable or tangible to offer, there will be no escaping it. The Angel (Pisces/Neptune) represents secret fears and the overwhelming urge to escape the bonds of this reality. As difficult as it can be, this avoidance will not bring you closer to a solution. The only thing you can do now is to look within yourself to identify the gift you possess to brighten the waking world on the daily and play it out in real-time.
