“Take No for an Answer”

The Gypsy Oracle Journey in reverse suggests a failed trip, a journey to be avoided, a missed appointment or someone or something that does not arrive. In love or career, you may find you are not a match after all- dashing your high hopes for compatibility. Whatever you are waiting for does not take off or move forward and so, nothing happens.  However, despite it’s disappointing appearance, this turns out to be a good thing. You are in a real sense, saved. In fact, this unexpected event is a gift from the Gods or “Uncontrolled Forces” but it’s not yours to know why but only to comply & acquiesce. Do not force your will to make it happen but accept and move on. You are to let the natural course of things play on without having to stubbornly control an outcome. Here Higher Forces forcibly take away from you what you do not want to give-- what you THINK you really need. The why’s and what for’s are hidden & will remain a mystery- so get good with that. You, in this case, do not know better and should not push to make whatever didn’t happen happen. You are not meant to know but just consider yourself lucky & blessed that the Universe saved you from a potentially unfortunate outcome. You may believe you have left empty handed or that you received a giant goose egg, but nothing could be further from the truth. Gebo represents a generous gift and the act of giving & receiving in this case with the Divine or perhaps Fate.…as well as balance. There are times in our life, (if we have an established relationship with the Divine), when we can recognize the realization of the Divine presence in everything and in exchange for this gift of “dodging a bullet” you will have to sacrifice your desire to override this perceived missed opportunity.  Don’t be dumb-Let it be. However, please know that this sacrifice will be rewarded in the shape of further blessings as you travel along your continued, evolving relationship with God. Your deepening trust & surrender to Divine Will will be compensated. Something better will enfold in perfect time if we do not try to interfere with Fate.
