“Singing In The Rain- I’m Happy Again”

Rain (Purification)
What’s purified: Eight of Swords
Holler: Frog
This week brings the Strawberry Moon, its fullness revealing the realization of your goals or the success of your projects. It’s a time to reflect on and celebrate how far you’ve come. Its energy illuminates the reward of hard work in the form of new opportunities. There’s a feeling of starting over— of being baptized into a new beginning, and you may receive communications confirming just this. Frogs are highly sensitive to poisonous disruptors in the environment and are often the first to “give a holler” about what is dangerously out of balance, and detrimental to survival. Through the darkness, the frog announces relief in the form of a cleansing rain, clearing the way for the arrival of previously unseen options. It’s the kind of rain that teems down, purifying — effectively washing away all that is toxic. In this case, that means the dissolution of limiting beliefs that have hemmed you in or led you to believe you were less than capable. The frog breaks the night, announcing what is missing—and in this case, we will hardly mourn its absence. Where there was previously a lack of vision or personal power preventing movement or clear thinking, there is now a restoration of order and alignment. Divided thoughts, disempowering actions, and the resulting confusion are brought back into coherence. This restoration may extend beyond your inner world and into the realm of how one stands in the eyes of others. News may arrive about the rectification of someone's reputation — the clearing up of slander, blame, or unjust criticism. The condemned receives word of absolution — a clean slate received.

“Not Yet Feeling Peachy?”

Ancestors-Generations
4 of Swords reversed
“Sweet as a Georgia Peach”
Today the Moon is in the First Quarter, representing determination as you push forward and put your plans into action. The time for rest and intention-setting is over — now you must work harder than before to meet and overcome obstacles. Ancestors appearing here may indicate support from family members, living or deceased, or point to something passed down through the family line — karma, a predisposing factor, or an inherited trait. On this card we see hands and a snake, a symbol of regeneration, which calls to mind a kind of healing that asks you not to rush — a therapy that requires taking your sweet time before returning to normal activity. You are reminded to take extra care as you re-enter the flow of daily life after a period of recovery, as indicated by the Four of Swords reversed. Perhaps you are returning to work after an illness, surgery, or injury — or perhaps after a death in the family. Perhaps you simply needed a mental break to regroup and collect yourself before rejoining the chaotic current of life once more. It may be part of your family heritage to rush the healing process, trading rest for sheer endurance — “powering on” to the detriment of yourself. Some cultures sour on the idea of making your own well-being a priority. And yet there are wiser members of your family line who know better, and who are urging you now to ease back in gently. Return you must — but these ancestors remind you to show yourself kindness, to pace yourself, and flirt with returning rather than dive headlong back in. Perhaps they never afforded themselves that tender care — and they carry the regret of it. They want you to do differently. Honor them by breaking the cycle of harmful patterns that have gone on long enough to feel like tradition.

"All The Good Stuff"

This week begins with a New Moon — one of the most powerful phases of the lunar cycle, signifying new beginnings that first require a moment of retreat. It calls for the preparation of a clean slate, a period of renewal, of clearing what is old to make room for all that is new.
The Rainbow appears as a very good omen — a turning point, a happy ending after a particularly stormy season. A shift for the better is underway, heralding long-awaited wishes finally coming true— incoming “All Good Stuff “.
These two Queens arrive pulling double duty — as blessings to you and as witnesses to your blessed moment, equally delighted by what is unfolding in your life. Two significant women, thrilled beyond belief, step forward to share in your joy. These two “grand dames” both carry a deep sense of satisfaction and happiness about what is emerging— a situation full of promise —fully aware of the preciousness and impermanence of moments like this one. Fair warning: these are two strong personalities, and they may seem at times to be taking over— one with her infectious excitement, and the other with her opinions or directives. Please know they honestly mean the best. You may have to be patient with them — as if one would wait for a storm to finish rolling through before the rainbow appears. As impermanent as a rainbow itself, they will not be around forever — which makes their presence here, now, all the more worth savoring.

“No Contest, No Quarter”

This week begins with a Waning Gibbous Moon — a phase of introspection and gratitude, inviting you to take note of all that was revealed during the recent Full Moon. Rest and take pleasure in knowing that whatever you have been working toward has reached its culmination.
The Seven of Wands announces that the days of proving yourself to others are over. Done with the struggle to claim the top spot — or at least a seat at the table — you are now fully seen as qualified, capable, and deserving of your place. Something has come full circle. The Full Moon places your capability in full view, driving home the truth of what you have built. This was no overnight achievement. It was a careful, deliberate construction — layer upon layer of authenticity and quality, day after day of showing up and bringing your “A-game”. There was no need “to beat others over the head” with grand gestures or forceful declarations, your talent & determination spoke for itself—and you hardly broke a sweat doing it. It was your unwavering adherence to your own standards, the steady execution of your inner drive, and your quiet awareness of your own worth —that held the competition at bay and silenced the noise from “the peanut gallery”. You outlasted the doubt, including the doubt that lived inside your own head. No contest—only reward. Accept the praise and acknowledgement that flows your way this week — it is well earned. The accolades are simply the cherry on top of a triumph that was already complete the moment you took up the challenge & refused to back down.
