This week we have TWO lustful, craving, desiring cards, TWO moving into action or planning cards, & ONE card of diligence & preparedness. Yerbe Mate, lust in motion, speaks to hunger and the energetic & persistent pursuit of winning that which you desire. Moving past the thinking or planning stage of the 2 into the “taking action” stage of 3. While you are off pursuing your heart’s desire, be mindful that another is pursuing their own at cross purposes. Yerbe Mate advises that physical action needs to be undertaken as hesitation or inaction will result in a loss. Deceit warns of some deception hiding in the shadow. A person, either personally or professionally, utilizing hidden tactics or manipulation to throw you off path. Deceit reduces to 7 which shows our desires & how we get what we want. It’s the evaluation of the level of satisfaction one presently has. Here this dissatisfied, covetous person is eyeing or lusting over what you have. This you cannot change but what is in your power to change is your level of preparedness & the extra knowledge needed to execute a plan to stay safe & your person & property intact. This new & useful information “leading to higher understanding” could come from either yourself through your own research or from a female friend of say the latest scam or troublesome area of travel since we have the Journey card here. Keep an eye on your valuables -whether it be money, your reputation, personal data, or anything you wouldn’t want stolen. Maintaining integrity of information is also stressed here, suggesting a change of password. Returning to the Journey card, it speaks to movement, travel, & relocation. So, whether it’s a vacation, a move, or running errands know your surroundings, study your route & don’t fall for distractions. Use your head & keep your wits about you when out & about as some could see you as vulnerable when away from your familiar environment. Something could be lifted while you’re on the move; secure your valuables while traveling, your data while away from a trusted server, and be mindful of distractions so you aren’t pickpocketed. This in effect over the next 3 days, weeks or months.

The Universe recognizes all the inner work you’ve done & that is certainly worth celebrating. You’ve come along way & should feel a sense of accomplishment for all your hard work, sacrifice & efforts but there’s more to be done in your journey for self-awareness & developing of self-discipline. A wise person knows there’s always more to one’s character to improve upon, trauma to process & heal from, and flaws to correct. You are encouraged to stay the course but pace yourself since the process can leave one feeling vulnerable & exposed. When we strengthen our character from within, we drop the masks that were installed to protect the false self. We no longer need them. There’s freedom from dependence to these attachments because we’ve sought to develop our own inner strength & look to our heart to feel safe, secure & steadfast against seductive manipulations. One can have revisits of old negativity but don’t let it haunt your heart. This is a time of great gains & increased well-being if you can stay the course & avoid being tempted by falling back into old ways of being, complacency or materialism. To avoid the tug, you’ll have to stand your ground & stay strong. Are you committed to this Great Work or not? The GW being defined as the rescue of the human soul from the unconscious forces which bind it. Being sincere & dedicated to self-improvement will open the path to your purpose & realizing your potential. It takes courage & a strong will as well as a keen eye to identify a potential obstacle that could result in a lapse in your devotion. Although this inner re-organization has led to better, more harmonious relationships, The Marrying Maiden specifically is asking you to examine how you unconsciously allowed yourself to be put in a lesser position by believing things about yourself that you knew were not true. Was it your trauma wound signaling that it was acceptable to be treated without worth or to accept crumbs? You may have to redirect your affection towards others-either distance yourself from those who disrespect you or reconcile with those you’ve parted. See the part you played, take responsibility for it and if possible, re-create a stronger bond with them. Change is not easy-but you are strongly encouraged to complete this. You will discover much about yourself & even serve as an example to lead others in this process of growth & self-expansion.

Presently you find yourself in a bit of a stalemate & a perspective shift is needed if you are serious in attaining what you’ve longed for. While it’s great to go after a goal with passion & enthusiasm, you are going about it wrong. You are either utilizing the wrong action, looking for an answer in the wrong place or pursuing the wrong thing altogether. You are mistaken & efforts will prove futile, so stop & take a moment to think. Emotions are running high resulting in a lack of clarity and a calmer, more logical mind could place you exactly where you need to be to make a dream come true. Whatever you’re looking to acquire would be better gotten by using reason and deduction rather than emotional needs or sentimentality. As an herb, Daminia is used to improve mental function while producing a slight high and increase desire while Darwin on the Thinker card represents evolution, growth & development. You need to be reminded that passions & goals are in state of progression but careful not to let desire cloud your better judgement or suspend logic. Goals can shift and change over time, but the best & most realistic desires usually survive and live to multiply.

This week speaks to your quest in feeling fulfilled, maintaining optimism and seeing the opportunity even in the darkest of circumstances. This of course, is an inside job which requires untying the knots of some deep mysteries within. Having the self-awareness to question why you do what you do, where you go to find answers, and how to access guidance to navigate the world-especially one that is becoming more & more confusing every day. As with any question, you must come to terms with the reality of the situation, while also seeing an opportunity for a creative way out. Perhaps, it’s something you never considered before because it’s outside your comfort zone. Note, The Empress is comfortable while the Seer is not. The Empress mistakes hedonism for spirituality, refusing to acknowledge the dark side of life. Her course of action would be to shut your eyes to reality, give into external pleasures that distract the senses and tempt you into a place of complacency. I mean you can, but I don’t think it’s going to provide the answers you’re seeking or help lead you from the maze you find yourself in. Crossing the threshold to explore your inner life can be scary and to some, unfamiliar. The Seer asks that you feel your way through life’s labyrinth touching on your inner guidance system, intuition, and follow your inner voice. Here we see Divine knowledge dropping in through the Seer’s crown representing her connection to higher wisdom while the Empress creates additional mazes, knots & confusion. It doesn’t matter what environment the Seer finds herself in, she can always plug in & see her way out. Tapping into her honest connection to God, HGA, Higher Self, whatever you want to call it, that provide divine insights & guidance through the crown chakra. The process can be raw, messy, transcendental, indescribable, humbling and usually private. It’s not flashy, sexy- not anything you can post on Instagram, nor is it filled with empty spiritual consumerism or shallow superficial pop-spirituality, that does not effectively guide but instead leads to dead ends & dark corners.
Guidance for April 2, 2023: “Laughing Through the Tears”
The All-Seeing Eye serves as a symbol of the existence of a higher being or beings watching over us, guiding and helping us from a far. This card shows up when life seems to not be in alignment with what our ego consciousness is comfortable with. The Eye sigil card reminds us that sometimes life can seem so disjointed & very chaotic to us humans, but it ultimately follows the plan of a Higher Consciousness that knows what’s best for all involved. One that knows every aspect, every angle, every outcome- all from a Higher Perspective outside of what our limited minds could ever fathom. Here we see the Wedding reversed, signaling something fate will not unite, a commitment not taking place, in short an unhappy bond. Best way forward would be to face the harsh truth - that sometimes, love dies & it’s better to part ways than stay together for all the wrong reasons. True partnerships, whether it be romantic or business, are based on mutual satisfaction, pleasure & sincerity and not to be entered for nefarious purposes or based on coercion. In these cases, it’s better to go it alone than to stay in a situation where love is not returned. As the saying goes, sometimes things need to fall away so better things can land. It’s in these difficult moments that we have to stop fighting against the tide and surrender to Divine Will, trusting Providence to place us where we are meant to be. Once we get there we can look back and see how every moment had to occur for everything to fall into place. So, despite the hurt & the confusion Life is throwing at you right now, it is possible to still have a good time & enjoy yourself. That although things looking very chaotic right now, you can still find the joy. Accept with gratitude the blessings & gifts you have here and now. You have many other satisfying successful relationships to gain pleasure from. Enjoy harmony amongst friends and loved ones by attending functions where there is lightheartedness, exuberance and laughter -truly enjoying others company. Focus on your own happiness & well-being instead of what has failed to be.
