This week may have you taking charge of a situation because others cannot seem to move past their struggle with being disappointed with life. Financial strains, anxiety and unfulfilled goals have plagued them causing disagreements and a lack of peace. Tensions have been high as you wait for harmony to arrive and they start living their life to its fullest. You’ve grown weary of waiting for them to take the initiative to turn things around for themselves. Perhaps it’s you that is used to being disappointed by them & are just waiting for the next installment of disillusionment. They’ve been going round & round while you’ve stood by patiently expecting to be disappointed once again. There’s an anticipation for an end to the discord & a movement past difficulties thereby conquering the anxiety of life. (But does life ever pause long enough until we are able to catch up and manage effectively? Not usually) However, because of your natural ability to take the lead in challenging situations, these people will look to you for wise guidance. You are now being called to lead by example; for you to demonstrate your wisdom on how to navigate life’s ups & downs and be the light so other may follow. Your unique gift of diplomacy is required in handling others and requires wisdom in choosing your battles. The Wyven warns you to watch for aggressiveness on your part & not plunge into confrontations recklessly. If there are conflicts, your innovative spirit will be called upon to extend a creative compromise to maintain a partnership. Preserving the relationship is highlighted since The Wyven is also the keeper of second chances -further asking you to consider forgiving past transgressions and absolve any guilt. While others make themselves dizzy with disharmony, doubt & uncertainty, it will be your patience & skill of seeing over the chaos that sets you above the herd.

The Gypsy Oracle Journey in reverse suggests a failed trip, a journey to be avoided, a missed appointment or someone or something that does not arrive. In love or career, you may find you are not a match after all- dashing your high hopes for compatibility. Whatever you are waiting for does not take off or move forward and so, nothing happens. However, despite it’s disappointing appearance, this turns out to be a good thing. You are in a real sense, saved. In fact, this unexpected event is a gift from the Gods or “Uncontrolled Forces” but it’s not yours to know why but only to comply & acquiesce. Do not force your will to make it happen but accept and move on. You are to let the natural course of things play on without having to stubbornly control an outcome. Here Higher Forces forcibly take away from you what you do not want to give-- what you THINK you really need. The why’s and what for’s are hidden & will remain a mystery- so get good with that. You, in this case, do not know better and should not push to make whatever didn’t happen happen. You are not meant to know but just consider yourself lucky & blessed that the Universe saved you from a potentially unfortunate outcome. You may believe you have left empty handed or that you received a giant goose egg, but nothing could be further from the truth. Gebo represents a generous gift and the act of giving & receiving in this case with the Divine or perhaps Fate.…as well as balance. There are times in our life, (if we have an established relationship with the Divine), when we can recognize the realization of the Divine presence in everything and in exchange for this gift of “dodging a bullet” you will have to sacrifice your desire to override this perceived missed opportunity. Don’t be dumb-Let it be. However, please know that this sacrifice will be rewarded in the shape of further blessings as you travel along your continued, evolving relationship with God. Your deepening trust & surrender to Divine Will will be compensated. Something better will enfold in perfect time if we do not try to interfere with Fate.

You may feel frustration at the lack of movement in your life- the legacy you are building may not be as valuable as you would like. An experienced standstill in regard to material wealth or possessions, those you presently have or wish to acquire. These could be very tangible things of value like land, houses, inheritances or wills but it also includes intangible things like your pride, honor and your identity. Your identity is a reminder of who you are; a cumulative product of your past & the future greatness you aspire to be. A freeze seems to have settled in on your purpose thwarting any future movement towards success, prosperity or security. Feeling left out and disconnected from a group/home/roots, there’s a sense of not having anyone or anyplace to turn to for aid. You may have been afraid to change & move forward because if it didn’t work out, you’d not be allowed to come back. A situation may have been toxic & stagnant but it was familiar. Now, you are being called to make a radical departure from old ways. However, it will require you to be totally honest about yourself and the situation you are in because a refusal to see clearly will cause harm to others or damage yourself. The runes affirm you cannot be chained to past conditioning or adopted negative family traits that stall your evolution. They warn that your self-pity, delusion, resentment or depression may be getting out of hand which could lead to reckless behavior. Others can see this plainly even if you cannot.
Isa calls on you to think where you have been frozen in place afraid to move. Going backward is not an option so don't hesitate to try something new. The Pleasure Seekers advise you to move on and take a risk. Taking a gamble on new experiences will lead to a path of success & may land you in a place that you want to be. So instead of being annoyed at being idle, consider it a time of rest before action is continued. See it as a necessary opportunity to stop, take measure and look around in order to further assess a situation, rather to charge forward without direction. Flow not rigidity is required here and all signs are pointing towards new horizons. Don’t be afraid to sail towards them.
October 10th, 2021: “Rushing Your Recovery”
If a recent illness hindered your day-to-day routine and sapped the vitality from your usual hale & hearty self, recovery is at hand. As this period of suffering comes to an end and you return to health, watch for impatience or frustration at your rate of recovery. The Knight of Wands warns you to be careful about rushing back to normal active life after being sidelined by some kind of health setback. Even though you are eager to get back at it and make up for lost time, allow your body to completely mend & recover before charging full steam ahead. The road to recuperation after a minor /major illness or injury could take days, weeks or even months before you’re up to full power again. Convalescence is defined as 'a gradual return to health' after sickness or injury. There is nothing gradual about barreling headfirst back into your regular routine at 100mph. Rushing a recovery could set you back, taking you longer to heal or increasing the risk of getting ill again. For example, recovering from infections require rest as your white blood cells need time to regenerate to be able to fight future bugs. This week, you may be forced to learn the value of convalescence and to stop pushing your body beyond its limit. With adequate support, your strength & fire will return steadily in time.

New worlds, new possibilities and new opportunities arise as others fade away marking a shift to a more profound existence.-in a sense reborn. You passed through the darkness of uncertainty- all has been brought out to the light of day & you’ve finally connected all the dots. As a result of seeing things differently, you’ve decided you are not willing to settle for less. You’ve realized that any uncomfortableness was a necessary rite of passage of sorts, all leading to this moment. This understanding conquers any fear & doubt of working through the end of a chapter & the start of a new beginning. Each step is/was a victory and you counted on your inner strength to carry you through.
