Jera marks the end of a phase & an immediate new beginning –Any current trials will end & soon you’ll be able to make a fresh start. New Moon heralds an incoming new season and an opportunity to work from a clean slate. It is the perfect time to set intentions of what you would like to set into motion & that will help dictate the course of the next chapter of your life. Concentrate on getting the most out of any efforts to apply. You’ll want to enjoy a rich lasting reward for all your blood, sweat & tears, right? With Jera, things take time to come back to you but your sincere efforts will pay off. Avoid forcing anything to happen. Just let things come to fruition in due time. Thurisaz-The very essence of disciple, re-enforces the virtue of (Jera) patience. You can’t expect fast results. Proceed with patience & make gradual but key changes every day to bring lasting rewards. Little tweaks and adjustments during the course of development will be necessary along with the occasional sacrifice in order to make headway. Thurisaz reminds you that some pain or discomfort must be endured for the reward that lies ahead. Things that are happening are meant to happen & are part of the grand cycle of life. Those things we are forced to endure will pave the way for good things to come since Jera represents something becoming better & greater ...especially after forced unfortunate changes.

Aggressive, tempestuous and possibly destructive forces may be creating a bit of friction baiting you into conflict. Let cooler heads prevail. This King of Wands (possibly a fire sign) may be determined to take a small spark & create a major disruption through his reckless action. This energy could be quite inspirational and constructive if controlled however this King can be unpredictable and he can’t be trusted to think before he acts…likely in a hot manner. His anger could be his downfall but don’t let him take you down with him. You’ll need to channel the stoic & sovereign nature of The Emperor to maneuver your way around this King. Notice the firestorms are behind him. They are out of his sight although he’s very much aware of its presence, heat and volatility, yet he remains untouched by dispute refusing to let it jeopardize his self-control or his personal authority. Lose your composure, you lose control & the upper hand. The Spider helps to point to where you need to show patience towards something you are trying to realize. Whatever you are trying to construct or manage could go up in flames in a nanosecond if you allow this Hot-Headed King to get the better of you. Be industrious & diligent but also patient & discreet. Count on your ability to view thing from multiple angles weaving mental & intuitive flexibility into your strategizing. This approach may make you seem enigmatic, mysterious or perhaps even indifferent but let them think what they want. Just sit tight..things are still changing. Your luck will soon change for the better if you are cautious. A break in the communication (non-engagement) will not only put strife to rest, you’ll be able to rest up, recover your resources, reevaluate stress free -mentally at ease- untouched by the fray because you refused to be pulled in. This week may bring a shot for you to showcase or share your “magic” with others so that they may benefit, IF you can gather your courage & overcome any doubt you have in your abilities. You really have so much to offer & be celebrated for, so don’t be afraid or hesitant to teach or share the invaluable wisdom you have. You need to realize opportunity knocks at ‘your’ door because of your proven character and experience. Trust in your talent and ability as much as everyone already trusts you. The Witch proclaims this magic needs to flow unhindered into the world so that others may profit and you learn to realize its value. What is Magic but something mysterious & prized, mostly by those who do not possess this awesome power. But yet it is usually your lack of confidence in its value that will deny others, as well as yourself, the tools that could shift or impact their world. The Crescent moon, a symbol for opportunity & fresh potential, is asking you to prepare for a new cycle and embrace this chance to alter this disserving pattern of tearing yourself down and doubting your abilities. The reversed 6oW & Judgement speaks of your challenge in learning this ...A failure to learn the lesson of knowing your value by giving into dark patterns of doubt & letting the mob steal your win. This week’s reading calls for us to be mindful of what we attract into our orbit and that it would be far more helpful to our “Bigger Picture” if we could gravitate towards people, situations, or ideas that inspire the very best version of ourselves rather than anything that sweeps us up in a tidal wave of excessive hunger. The Master represents being connected to the most evolved part(s) of ourselves; reminding us to operate from that perspective when combatting any circumstance. When presented with any new opportunity, The Master always takes full advantage of a situation, expertly handling whatever’s thrown his way with confidence, skill & style --but always with integrity. Here the Master along with Guarana help to stimulate confidence and offer encouragement repeating the importance of striving to act & create from our higher aspects rather than our lesser natures. While the Carnal Card generally represents the healthier expression of satisfying our sexual needs, it is challenged in this position speaking to our craving, grasping or lusting; of being overtaken by our baser desires. The Carnal card warns us that if we allow ourselves to be overwhelmed & consumed by what we lust, we fail to consciously activate the desire to achieve something greater--in other words, we retrograde our potential. The seduction may be so strong that we struggle to maintain the resistance needed to abstain & find it easier to surrender to the flow of least resistance. And so, we give into addictions, compulsions or anything that immediately satisfies a thirst when in fact we are being called to look closer. We are encouraged to discover our personal motivations & recent reactions which will lead to a greater understanding. Why you do what you do? (Who do you do perhaps?) Does is serve you? Is it helpful or ultimately harmful? Is it the best you can do? Are you masterfully drafting new experiences that will have a lasting positive effect? Are you taking the lead to actively stimulate the adventure you truly want for yourself? The Planet shows us our place in creation as well as our patterns and the powerful pull they have on our life & what we ultimately create for ourselves. Planet also calls to the immense importance of maintaining the highest quality of your atmosphere & to be conscious of what you are pulling in & surrounding yourself with. Anything that makes you less of the Master you are should be eliminated from your orbit. You are far more expansive, powerful & forceful than you can presently imagine.
