Again, we see this difficult rune appear for us in 2022, reminding us of the friction, hardship and obstacle within our lives that force us to grow & supply the fire needed under our asses to institute change. It’s not a situation we would have ever chosen for ourselves but often it’s through adversity that we discover new solutions to deal with our old problems. This abysmal last year or so was a critical period & precarious place to be, A place where we had to collect our forces, summon our strength & face our fears. These times provide us with the opportunity to shine as well as fail- moments when we proved our worth to ourselves & to the Universe. A true test of the quality of our inner reserves and how well we could weld them to cut through all the distractions & get to the core of the danger. Being pummeled by one danger /disaster after another without being provided an indication as to its true nature, direction, or estimated conclusion, we had to assume a warrior mentality to battle our way from the panic & confusion. Many felt alone overwhelmed, but those who maintained an unshakable & abiding trust in their own sense of what was right succeeded. Made it through by paying attention to their intuition and by staying flexible, responding to how life unfolded day to day- making decisions & adjustments accordingly seeing each moment as completely new – and yes at times totally unfamiliar or unexpected. As time goes on, it will be necessary to take each situation as it comes. To avoid sticking to rigid or intensely structured methods but instead look at the times ahead with fresh eyes, applying novel spontaneous approaches to upcoming problems or situations. Where our innocence was betrayed, we will have the opportunity to resiliently bounce back, forgiving ourselves for making the mistake of being too trusting. By acting from a place of natural openness & childlike curiosity, we will stay open to inspiration and unexpected good fortune. We learned the lesson of paying attention to our true needs & necessities because often what we desire & what we need are not the same. As a result, we are choosing to raise our standards & are grateful for the opportunity to start from scratch with quality materials-ones that nourish one’s body, mind, and spirit. Now, we can discern between what truly nourishes us & feeds our well-being. Through our individual and collective experiences, we now can distinguish between need and greed, wholesomeness from debauchery, real from junk, self-development from self-indulgence, eliminating anything that is sickening. We can feel the quality in our bodies, mind & spirits better than before. With eyes set towards future, we will be grateful for increased development & progress with those who share similar values of integrity & quality. With a focus on nourishment, we are eager to break new ground with those who feed themselves with good ideas, good actions, good teachings & good people.

This week calls to the promise of a new start but its speculative as this point. Here we see you being handed a new beginning, a new potential- but fear or maybe stubbornness is keeping from accepting it for the prize it is. So, it seems as if it has been placed on hold, waiting for you to accept what’s not working & finally move on to something new. You are being advised to face your fear & move on- stop putting in continued effort into something that failed you long ago. While it’s understandable to pause a while what you need or don’t need, don’t let this new thing die on the vine while you keep trying to revive what’s dead. What a waste of your creative, imaginative, inventive powers to deny something so worthwhile- something that has potential to be be something much more than you presently possess. This week we have a focus on Peace in regard to having it, maintaining it and being in it. A desire to maintain inner calm for everyday serenity however this requires strength & disciple to support & sustain it. Without these two things peace cannot stand strong within you. The Ace of Cups strengthens the importance of having deep emotionally fulfilling relationships where unconditional love, acceptance & forgiveness can be found. Some can take these types of connections for granted but you are aware of the sense of joy & happiness it brings. However, we find conflicting messaging here. While you value peace, you crave excitement at the same time. Although grateful for what you have, you can grow restless. Peace to an inquisitive soul can soon turn to feelings of stagnation & boredom. Page of Wands wants a little excitement which by its nature, brings disturbance to harmony. Perhaps you are unconsciously stirring the peace with a bit of chaos just to get some fresh excitement? While there’s nothing wrong with pushing the boundaries and being reinvigorated by new adventures, the Page of Swords in Reverse warns the way you are going about it is not the right one. Most people are not aware that they carry out addictive behaviors, thoughts or ways of life in their romantic relationships and are largely unaware of the counterproductive consequences of those unconscious actions. Since this PoS illustrates a need to exercise self-control, let him serve as a reminder to not ruin a good thing. Take some time and re-balance your inner self before moving forward. Return your focus on what you truly value by replacing immature destructive desires for honest talk and healthy discussions about the relationship
